View of upper Willis Street, Wellington, from Boulcott Street. Perrett's Corner is in the centre foreground with Manners Street to the left and the Ship Inn on the extreme right. The Union Bank is in the right foreground, which was later the site of the Old Identities Hotel (Albert Hotel). Catchpole's flour mill is in centre and the site of the Criterion Hotel, later known as the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, is on the extreme left. Photograph taken by George Henry Swan in 1851.
